It is found in Mekelle, Tigray. • Pushkin's Monument The monument portrays Alexander Pushkin, a renowned Russian Poet believed to have Ethiopian blood. The monument is found close to AU headquarters, Addis Ababa. • Ras Mekonnen's Statue The statue was erected to commemorate Ras Mekonnen who was the father of Emperor Haileselasie I. it is found outside of the ancient walled city of Harar. • Victory Monument It is also known as Miyaziay 28 erected to commemorate those who courageously fought and defeated the Italian fascist invaders. It is located at Arat Killo, in A.A. • Yekatit 12 Monument This monument was erected in commemoration of Addis Ababa city martyrs that had been massacred by the Italian fascists on February 20,1942. |
